Use Edit with Chat in the survey code editor to request a change in plain English. Chat works from your current editor draft, including unsaved edits. Select the relevant code first when you want to focus on a particular question or block.
Request and review a change
- Open the survey code editor and its Chat panel. Select the code you want to work on, if appropriate.
- Choose Edit with Chat, describe the desired change, and select Ask in Chat.
- Review the proposed code in the comparison view. Use its navigation controls to move between changes.
- Select Reject to leave your draft unchanged, or Apply to put the proposal into the editor draft.
- Check the resulting draft and select Save to persist it.
Applying a proposal does not save the survey. If you change the draft while a proposal is pending, reject that proposal and request a fresh one against your updated code.
Fix an editor issue
Use Quick Fix for a reported code issue to ask Chat for help with that issue and the current code. The proposed fix uses the same review, Apply, and Save workflow.
